GMM Research Corporation (GMM) is a minority-owned and operated business located in a beautiful
and spacious 2,655 square foot building in Yorba Linda, California. Under president, Luis Taveras, GMM
has been in business since 1988 making quality synchronous and asynchronous communications cards with
many custom applications. Luis is originally from the tropical Dominican Republic and has an engineering degree from
the Academy of Aeronautics and New York Institute of Technology. GMM's production capacity is backed by
two major Southern California assembly houses equipped with state of the art surface mount automated assembly
lines. Their quick turn-around and excellent quality and service have helped make GMM the success
it is today. |

GMM Research Corporation can be seen at many major world-wide tradeshows including ComNet
in Washington D.C. and Networld + Interop in California and Atlanta. Represented in trade journals across
the U.S. and Canada, GMM sells to the government as well as the private sector, providing attractive
pricing for purchasing large volumes of products month after month as well as custom labeling and technical
support. By February of this year GMM had surpassed the $1.5 million mark in sales and is currently expanding
employee base with new software and engineering technical personnel. Our talented and hardworking team of

GMM has oriented itself in the communications market by offering high quality and cost effective products

GMM is evolving a family of products based on common communication devices; Serial Communications Controllers
(SCC) or Enhanced Serial communications Controllers (ESCC) and a common base CPU design. Additionally, GMM
works with a line of NEC and Intel microprocessors that are low in cost, high in availability and PC standards
compatible. GMM's line of communications cards utilize the latest FPGA design technology and surface mount

GMM plans to expand into higher speed wide area networks and video and multi-media applications integral
to our long-term strategy to utilize the internet and high band width communication products. GMM is
committed to continuing software development for operating environments such as Win NT, Win 95/98, and Linux to
bundle with all products. GMM's goal is to provide its customers with a complete Family of Desktop
Communication Products for WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, ISDN, ATM, and FDDI applications for PC/AT and Power
