The Winning Combination
For Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP
The GMM Developer ToolKit is a first at GMM. After many years of engineering excellent communication
hardware GMM stepped back and decided to assemble an equally excellent seamless IDE for the next
generation of products based on PCI technology. The common denominators that GMM was looking for were
low entry cost, seamless integration with the popular compilers and debuggers, and a reasonable
licensing cost to the end customer.
After a good look around for an RTOS, determining which compiler our customers use the most, and
scratching our heads over standards GMM chose what it estimates is the most cost effective and
efficient winning combination of tools to offer with its new line of communication PCI technology
products.
GMM has taken an "Open & Play" approach to delievering a complete developers kit that provides the
engineer or programmer with everything he or she needs in one box ready to install, verify, and
start coding in record time. We have two Toolkits available, Standard or Realtime additions. The
Standard ETS Kernel is a single process (single thread) kernel intended for smaller and simpler embedded
applications. The Realtime ETS Kernel is a multithreaded, preemptable, priority scheduled kernel which is
appropriate for more complex embedded applications with realtime requirements. Both kernels use the same tools,
compilers and C/C++ run time libraries.
